Another experimental piece inspired by a Ruth Issett technique . This time I have used fresh spring colours and I think it has worked quite well .Very different from the first one which was dark and moody .

I was volunteered to knit a jelly baby for the local church’s Christmas Fair . Hope it comes up to scratch . I think he is quite cute. He now just needs a tube of sweets to carry.
The result of a little experimentation from a Ruth Issett inspired workshop . Some of the areas worked really well but some fabrics didn’t pick up the dyes as I thought they might. What a shame I will need to play wih more fabric and dye :)
I have just signed up on Lucy’s blog to take part in a Christmas trade event with fellow makers . Looking forward to the end of October to see who else is trading .
